Willem Woestenburg

Willem Woestenburg studied the piano and music theory at the Amsterdam Conservatory. He has now been teaching music theory as well as leading the ‚praktijkklas piano’ at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam for more than 33 years. He enjoys teaching very much, and is still an active pianist. Willem Woestenburg’s piano teacher was Mozart-specialist Hans Dercksen.

Put yourself 'In(to) the mind of the composer' together with Willem Woestenburg, who has cleverly arranged a new piano concerto in the style of Haydn, using existing material from Haydn's piano sonata, trio and symphony.
